Low Rider -Trike
|
If you think the Lowrider Trike trailer looks a lot like the Lowrider Tandem trailer you are correct. I started out building the Lowrider Tandem with full intent of building a trike trailer as my next project. It was going to be specifically for a trike with all the little touches that only trike people would appreciate and want. One day it struck me; I bet my wifes trike will fit on that tandem trailer. Not only did it fit, it seemed to be built for it! I had put a third wheel chock base in the middle for those times hauling a single bike (in the middle). Call me Mr. Overdo. That third wheel chock was perfect. The retractable ratchet front tie downs were perfect. The adjustable rear tie down points were perfect. Last but not least, the ramp was perfect. So much for designing and building a trike specific trailer. I wouldnt change a thing. The Lowrider Tandem gets to wear two separate hats. Enjoy. |
